Jonathan Ames (iQ Fellow for Public Relations) is a distinguished journalist who has covered legal affairs for much of his career, specialising in the Arab World, Europe, and the U.K. domestic market. He is the Editor-in-Chief of 'The European Lawyer,' a monthly magazine read by senior lawyers, both in private practice, and in-house, across Europe, and the 'Leaders in Law Review', a quarterly global law and policy periodical published by iQ.

Previously, Mr. Ames edited 'The Brief', a Dubai-based magazine focused on the rapidly growing top end commercial legal sector in the Gulf region. He was also Editor-in-Chief for 10 years of the London-based 'Law Gazette', Europe's widest circulated weekly newspaper for the legal profession. During his earlier years in the profession, his career spanned stints as a junior reporter at the London Bureau of renowned general affairs magazine 'U.S. News & World Report'.

Mr. Ames also contributes regularly to a range of U.K. publications, most notably 'The Times' newspaper and 'The Lawyer'.
