The Inaugural Meeting of the Harvard Law School Association of Arabia (HLSAA) happened on 7-8 April 2012 in Doha, Qatar. Institution Quraysh was asked to oversee the establishment of HLSAA and became the HLSAA President. Highlights included a dialogue between Prof. Charles Ogletree and Malik Dahlan at the Opening Dinner on 7 April 2012, and Qatar Minister of Justice, His Excellency Minister Hasan bin Abdullah Al Ghanem, who gave an address at the Inaugural Dinner on 8 April 2012.
The HLSAA shares the mission of the HLSA to advance the cause of legal education, to promote the interests and increase the usefulness of the Harvard Law School and to promote mutual acquaintance and good fellowship among all members of the Association.
