Mustafa Khedewi is an Associate Fellow of iQ (Research). He has multidisciplinary educational and work experience. Currently, he is a Ph.D. Researcher in Politics and International Relations at the University of Aberdeen. He holds an LLB degree in Sharia and Law at Al-Azhar University, followed by a pre-masters course in International Relations at London University (SOAS), then, MSc in International Law and International Relations (University of Aberdeen).
Mustafa has intensive work experience, mainly teaching and researching. In 2018 he has been accredited as Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, as he was a member of staff at the University of Aberdeen. Mustafa also was a member of one of the European Union international scientific projects on investigating the causes of the Arab Spring. He was a member of the Technical Office to Sheikh Al-Azhar, for dialogue affairs. He significantly contributed to many initiatives and projects enhancing political, and societal dialogue as well as co-organized several international interfaith conferences. He advises on public policy and religion-politics related issues in the Middle East.
