Professor Cindy Skach

Professor Cindy Skach is Fellow of iQ (Constitutional Law). She is a Professor of Law at King’s College London. She was formerly Professor of Comparative Government and Law at the University of Oxford, and was Associate Professor of Government at Harvard University and Affiliated Professor of International Legal Studies at Harvard University Law School. She has served as an advisor on constitutional issues to foreign governments, and international organisations, including the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI), and the Club of Madrid General Assembly. She has published on European and US legal restrictions on religious freedom, and is engaged in a comparative study of Islamic jurisprudence and the optimal specificity of rules. She received graduate degrees at Columbia University, the University of Heidelberg, where she was a Fulbright Fellow, and the University of Oxford.
