Dr. Hani Findakly (iQ Senior Fellow and Head, Financial and Investment Policy) is an investment banker who has served for 25 years in senior capacity on Wall Street firms, including, most recently as Chairman and Director of Dillion Read Management and as Vice Chairman and Director of Clinton Group Inc. He has extensive experience in finance, management and international development; ranging from working on Wall Street to over ten years as Chief Investment Officer of the World Bank. He has received several honors including the Ellis Island Congressional Medal of Honor (2007). Sigma Xi (Research Honors, 1971), Chi Epsilon (Engineering Honors, 1972). Goulbenkian Foundation Fellow (1969-72).

He serves in different capacities including Director, Chair of the Audit Committee, and Member of the Board's Strategy and Compensation Committees, Saudi Economic & Development Company (SEDCO); and Director, TAIB Bank, Bahrain. Dr. Findakly has provided advice to several organisations and companies including Asian Development Bank, Food and Agricultural Organization, International Fund for Agricultural Development, Inter-American Development Bank, Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development, Arab Monetary Fund, Abu Dhabi Fund for Economic Development, Saudi Fund for Development, Bank for Economic Development in Africa, United Nations Development Programme, Federal Highway Administration, US Agency for International Development, Central Banks of Algeria, Colombia, Turkey, and Venezuela.
