Dr Asifa Quraishi-Landes is a member of the iPlatform Committee of Academic Fellows. She is an Associate Professor of Law at the Wisconsin University School of Law. She has been a public delegate for the US Delegation to the UN Commission on the Status of Women (2010). She is a member of numerous bodies including the governing board of the Association of American Law Schools" Section on Islamic Law, the National Association of Muslim Lawyers (NAML), the "Opinion Leaders Network" for the British Council's "Our Shared Future" project, and she is a Fellow at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding. She was a 2009 Carnegie Scholar and 2012 Guggenheim Fellow. She was awarded a BA from the University of California-Berkeley, a JD from the University of California-Davis, an LLM from Columbia University Law School, and a SJD from Harvard University Law School.
