Professor Sir Malcolm Grant CBE is a member of the iPlatform Board of Overseers. He is a barrister, environmental lawyer, academic and public servant. He was President and Provost (the principal academic and administrative officer) of University College London (UCL) for 10 years from 2003. He is currently Chairman of NHS England, a British Business Ambassador (appointed by the UK Prime Minister), a member of the Higher Education Funding Council for England, and a Member of the University Grants Committee of Hong Kong. He has held numerous other distinguished posts including as Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Cambridge. He received from Her Majesty the Queen a knighthood in 2013 for services to higher education and a CBE in 2003 for services to planning law and local government. He was appointed Officier dans l'Ordre de Mérite by the French Government in 2004. He holds an LLB, LLM, LLD and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Otago.
